Skyworks WA respecting no drones on ANZAC Day

When Channel Ten rang us up on the eve of ANZAC Day requesting our services to film the Dawn Service and the City Parade from the air, we initially had to decline in order to abide by the “No Drones” rules imposed and out of respect for the occasion. However we were able to offer a solution by utilising our 7m telescopic mast system and camera mentioned in last month’s newsletter article. Channel Ten was extremely happy with the results which aired on the news at 5.00pm later that day.

The mast provided silent and unobtrusive aerial video and photographs of the occasion, and it was great to bump into our EIA President Cassandra who organised the vehicle convoy in the ANZAC parade and capture some footage and photos of these vehicles for her as a bit of cross promotion between EIA members!
