I want to become a member. How do I do that?

Simply email admin@eia.com.au with your expression of interest and a detailed brief on membership categories and an application form will be sent to you.

Do I have to attend functions?

No, although to maximise your exposure to others in the industry, it is recommended that you attend social and educational functions where possible. It is a great, relaxing way to do business.

Do I have to be involved in the events industry?

Yes, in some way. Either directly or as an affiliated business or individual.

Do I have to be working full time?

No, those who are looking for employment in the industry are welcome to join, although we of course cannot guarantee employment simply by becoming a member. Full time students can join as a student member.

Is it expensive to be an EIA member?

No – fees are very reasonable and have only risen marginally since the Association was formed in 1995.
